I felt exactly the same was as you do, to the point where I scrapped my fancy wedding and got married in my grandparents’ yard. So not kidding- lol! Just focus on your FH and yourself whenever you get stressed, and don’t ever let the wedding planning make the two of you fight or you’ll begin to resent the wedding and each other. Hang in there!

P.S. Remember that you’re in control of how minute and specific you want the details to be. If it’s something you don’t really care about, don’t get hung up on it.

I can absolutely relate to this!  I remember getting engaged and saying to a married friend “what was the first thing you thought when you woke up the next morning..married”  she replied “We were just relieved it was all over with”.  I didn’t understand this one bit and thought that romance must be dead.  In any event after planning for 6 months I completely understood what she meant.  The smallest of things that were deemed SO important drove me nuts!! All I ever wanted was just to be married to the man of my dreams.  We had a lovely day but I wouldn’t go through that again 🙂 I did love every minute of the wedding day but honest to god my first thought on waking the next morning…….”relieved it was all over with”.  I adore being married and can’t wait for us to see what the future holds.
