Wow, that is truly FABULOUS

You did an AWESOME job.

I have an old dresser that I have in storage that I’m planning to turn into a Buffet (similar idea, taking out drawers, using Baskets instead etc), so I’ve been reading up on stuff I’ve seen on Pinterest

You now have inspired me to do it come Spring.  Thanks.

@peasantsong:  ok well…can’t wait until we’re in a larger apartment! lol my apartment is super tiny because of where we’re living. Once we have more space I want to do projects!

To @peasantsong:  Yes I am thinking of dedicating a weekend to it come the better weather… chalk paint is nice (I may use that info you’ve provided for another project).

But for the application we’d be using the buffet for (outdoors / back porch area) I’m thinking more along the lines of Enterior Paint or Marine / Yacht Paint so that it has some long-term protection against the weather / elements

I’m a bit “nervous” about the process… but I’m excited at the prospet of repurposing a piece of furniture into something quite functional at little to no cost.

@peasantsong:  Interesting… is it supposed to be as durable?  It sounds like an awesome paint!  I wonder why it’s not more commonly used.

I love refinishing furniture but haven’t used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint because it’s so expensive. How did the one you use measure up? Is it true you use way less chalk paint than regular latex?

@peasantsong:  Amazing!!!

I am so glad you posted this, we are trying to find a tv stand for our tv and don’t want to spend a ton of money. I love DIY projects and I think I just found a new one to work on 🙂
