aheller89 : ummmm sometimes I don’t mind an unlined bodice but it’s jot my favorite. I just feel like with this dress it seems like they ran out of fabric to line it entirely so they strategically chose what to line… adding lace will likely help! Also sorry if I came across to blunt! Not knocking you at all and neither am I trying to knock the dress- it is honestly pretty! And again, ultimately do what makes you happy!

I think it’s a bit too revealing at the moment – gives me a lingerie vibe. I’d vote for lining the bodice.

I’m so glad to see you had a better experience with Anomalie than I did.
I would probably line it through the bust area, but leave the back sheer and the v and side cutouts sheer. It’s just a bit jarring and takes away from the overall design seeing the breasts cups with the amount of sheer it currently it.

aheller89 : I don’t think it’s overly revealing (since the lace detail is pretty dense around the bust area) so much as I personally find the transition between a bottom and the unlined top jarring. It’s not just your dress, it’s always seemed off to my brain in any of the dresses in that style. Ultimately I think it’s up to you — if it doesn’t bother you I don’t think it’s that sexy. I will say though that the extra space between the detail work around the waist feels a bit off to me since it’s more filled in elsewhere. I’m wondering if you could use just some of the floral pieces to fill in those areas — my eye goes right to the belly button area when I would imagine you would want the focus on you to be slightly higher. I think lining it is definitely an option though I think you are correct in that it would lessen the contrast with the detail work and If you go for something that is blush or nude I’m not sure it would really lessen the sexiness.

I would line the top in white but leave the underarm and some of the cleavage sheer.
I also thing there is something wiggy going on with the seam in the back but can’t tell what because of the resolution of the photo.

I’m also on the line the bodice area, but leave the sides and the back mesh. And keep that Deep V! I personally don’t like how you can see the boob cups, I think if you lined that area but kept the deep v, it would look perfect! Otherwise I love it!

aheller89 : I say line the front and leave the side and back how it is! It fits you beautifully and is a gorgeous dress!

I would line the front. I’m not a big fan of the visual cups floating behind lace. If you want to bring the deep up add lace there, it does look like an arrow pointing down at least fill in the arrow head part 🤷🏻♀️ and keep the back and straps sheer. I would fill in the sides with lace the open skin with the lining under your arm looks odd to me. Otherwise it looks like it’s a good fit.
