He FINALLY proposed!!
It was Christmas night and we had just gotten home from Christmas with our families. We were relaxing on the couch when he decided he was FINALLY going to open a can of pears that he had been saving for years. This particular can of pears had been floating around our bedroom and had even made it through two moves with us. As much as I proded him to get rid of the pears (why do we need them, again?), he never would. You can imagine my joy when he was finally going to get rid of them!
So he opened the can, all the while I may have been making snide (but loving and good humored) remarks about the pears. He then walked into the living room looking at the pears, still in the can. He had a look like something was wrong with them and showed them to me. Inside on top of the drained pears was my ring! He told me he loved me very much and couldn’t imagine living without me. At this point I cut him off with a big hug and he made sure that meant ‘yes.’ Which it very much did! After the big hug I made remarks of pear juice on my ring and we proceeded to grin like fools at each other for the rest of the night. The now empty can of pears was promptly rinsed and will forever live in infamy!
My ring is sooooo sparkly and more than I ever could have hoped for! It’s a moissaniteco. .75 carat equivalent style number eng654. Here are some pictures!
