A runway aisle! So I went to my city’s bridal show/expo. We took a seat in the audience for the “bridal fashion show” they were having. As we’re sitting there, this guy comes up to me and asks if I wanted to get a makeover, hair styled and put on a wedding dress to be a “real bride-to-be” model. At first I was like uhhh…umm… I mean I’m not a model by any means, and I was worried about jinxing myself by being in another gown, but I said yes!
They took me backstage, and it was like project runway or something back there! Totally like you see on TV, people jumping in and out of gowns. They picked out a pink ballgown style with a sweetheart neckline, I think it may have been this one by Sophia Tolli:
So anyways… It was a really cool experience! Here’s me on stage, and my hair and makeup, in case anyone wanted some “big hair’ inspiration!

@azinaugust: They said that’s the 3rd year they’ve picked “normal brides to be” to model gowns. Kinda cool 🙂
I reaaaallly want to show Fiance pictures, but I’m so afraid that he’ll see that dress and love it, then see my real dress on the wedding day and not like it as much! haha.

Wow. You look stunning! And as envious as I am that you TOTALLY looked like America’s Next Top Model and I could never pull it off (although I dream about it while watching the show!), that is just way too cool that you got to strut your stuff! 🙂
