So my cousin is a good singer and I would love nothing more than for her to sing at my wedding. I want her to sing “a moment like this” by Kelly Clarkson. My Fiance would love to hear her also – but would rather it not be for the walk down the aisle or for the first dance. When would be a great time for her to sing this song???

My friend had soloists as a prelude before the wedding party walked down the aisle. It definitely got the crowd into wedding mode!

How about having her sing it after you say ‘I do’.

By saying to sing it after I say ‘I do’, would that mean during the processional? or Just right in between the ceremony?

we’re doing a song right after the homily. our officiant strongly recommends it because she said that at that point in the ceremony it is really nice to give everyone a break from listening to the ceremony and refresh them a little bit before the most important part– the vows!

@naydeen: Either way. When you are lighting the unity candle or during the processional. (I think the processional would be better).
