Yes! mine’s getting altered and I never realized how much I liked to try it on before, even though it didn’t fit 🙁

Mine just came in, and I tried it on last week and its pretty big on me. Now I just keep thinking about how I cant wait to begin the alteration process! My dress is going to sit at the salon for another couple months until she`s ready to get altered! I want her now!! lol

I’m waiting for my dress to come in and I can’t wait! It’s coming in May and I ordered it in November. In the meantime, I will be making sure to stick to a healthy diet to make sure I fit into a size 6.

@cherryblossomlove:  I have been pretty good at maintaining my weight but I have addicted to soda…love Dr. Pepper!!! I have been doing the Paleo diet and it’s been working for me very well. I feel lighter, thinner, and less bloated. I’m doing my best to keep at it because I would cry if my dress does not fit on me 🙁

Ordered mine from eBay last week so I have a few months of waiting ahead. I haven’t tried any dresses on in a shop, nor do I intend to, so I really want to know what they look like! I ordered a few styles because I got a really good deal so I’ll be able to play around once I get them, then I get to embellish!

I bought a sample Sottero and Midgley Adorae in June of 2011. The owner of the store suggested that we keep it on lay-a-way and leave it there as long as possible. He said that by leaving it there I wouldnt be tempted to look at it or put it on everyday. He also said that if I left it there he would have insurance on it so if anything happened he could get it replaced. I am super grateful that he said that because we actually lost our home to a fire in late November. I had a pretty dramatic dress shopping day and so when we found Adorae we were so relieved that it was over.

Now, I am pretty much a nervous wreck about the dress. I havent seen it 9 months and there are no pictures of me in it and I struggle to remember exactly why I fell in love with it. I know that it made me feel beautiful and comfortable but I have lost that mental image of what it looked like on me. I am so tempted to pay it off just so I can put it on one more time. However, I know that it needs to stay there as long as possible. I will have to stretch the last payments until June. Then the alteration process will begin. I still have so much waiting ahead.
