I bet you could wear a crinoline with that dress (a slim one) and it would make it look more mermaid-ish. Buy one from ebay- they’re cheap!

Hi,

I know this post is a little bit old but I just saw it now. I wanted to let you know that I had the same feeling toward my dress, which is a sheath as well, and so I bought a mermaid-shaped semi-full crinoline and it is PERFECT. From the looks of your dress you can get away with the exact same one. I got this one: http://encorebridal.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=10&products_id=144

@monalisa670:  Ahh I just came upon this post because I am feeling the same way too! I just bought a sheath dress and feeling like I shouldn’t have done so because it doesn’t seem too bridal. Can I see pics of your dress with the mermaid slip on to see how it looks? Thank you.

I fell in love with a sheath dress too, but I am terrified it won’t be bridal enough:/
