Our wedding colors are plum (MOHs’ dresses and guest table runners), champagne (chair cover sashes and head table/cake table overlays), and ivory, with pewter accents in the wedding party’s attire (groom’s party’s ties/vests and bridal party’s shoes).
However, the bouquets I selected MONTHS ago are not going to match now, as they have some orange (dahlias, circus roses), yellow (billy balls), and burgundy (hypericum berries) in them. I do have ivory roses (in my bouquet and the bouts) and purple dahlias (all bouquets), which I want to keep. My florist says that I don’t need to iron out final details until August, but will they be put off that I want to change a lot?
Also — based on our wedding colors, would you have any suggestions that I could take to my florist? I want to stick to in-season flowers to stay within the $550 budget, as we’ve paid for the flowers in full already, but I’m looking for a bit more elegance.

Honestly, if you want to be sure to stay within your budget, the best thing to do would be to ask for florist for alternative selections in your wedding colors that will fit within your previously agreed-upon contract price.

@Brielle: That’s my thought. I’m not going to demand peonies, orchids, or callas and expect to pay the same price! I’m wondering what flowers are out there that are in champagne…roses, perhaps?

It should be fine, it’s not like they’ve ordered the flowerss already. I might, though, email them some inspiration pictures of your new look

I had the same problem.. When I first met my florist and decided on colors, flowers etc. I thought I knew what bouquet I wanted.. I must have emailed her 3 different times changing my bouquet.. My colors were eggplant & ivory.. Here are some inspiration pics.
First pic is my final inspiration pic
2nd pic is my actual bouquet going off of first pic.. She did add lavender flowers.
Other pics I got from my Pinterest board.

I would just be really specific when you know exactly what you want so the flowers you get on the day of look the way you want them to.
