I have 7 bridesmaids and each one is truly special to me. Honestly, through this whole wedding process I have grown to love each of them even more than I did before I was engaged. Because 7 is a lot, I sometimes feel I am not showing them individually how much I appreciate what they are doing for me. On the morning of my wedding I want to do something special for them. I’m thinking of writing them each a letter to read that day, but I feel like that is not enough.
I’ve already bought their Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts. But I don’t know if maybe I should buy another gift to give them with the letter that morning??
If you have any ideas please share. It’s really important to me that I let them each individually how much they mean to me and how appreciative I am of them.

Are your Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts individual to their interests? If so, then I think that is super meaningful to show that you thought of them individually. If it’s the same for each of them, think about getting them something tailored to them. I think the letter idea is super sweet too.

I like the letter idea a lot. I think that will be special =). What did you get them for bridesmaid gifts?

Have you thought about just doing something with them after the wedding? 7 is a lot to try to do individual events but if you are clever with your budget and time, you can make it work. Especially if you get some good groupons! Or split them into smaller sets based on who is friends with whom outside of their relationship with you. Some ideas:
A moderately priced dinner and drinks at an ethnic restaurant neither of you have ever tried
Movie night (bonus points if you have one of the cinemas that does drinks too)
Open Mic night at the local comedy club
Take a pottery or painting class together (Living Social does a lot of stuff like this)
Take a one-night cooking class
Go to a baseball game (if your team isn’t doing well this season you can get tickets for dirt cheap, it’s $2 to see my home team on a Tuesday)
Since most of my friends have plenty of “stuff” already, I like to give “doing” type gifts and it’s always a treat to get together.

Something I did was I found small photo albums and filled them with copies of photos of us throughout the years. It was a relatively inexpensive gift, but very meaningful, especially because I’ve always been the one that has taken pictures.

These are all great ideas ladies, thanks so much! I am doing personalized beach bags for their gifts filled with individual items each girl would like for my gifts to them. I love the “doing” idea and the little photo albums….maybe I’ll do both. 🙂 thanks bees!
