I’m in the mood! The Christmas mood! I have it bad this year….not sure why…but bad. I’m folding laundry listening to Christmas music. I’m debating on hauling me and my preggo belly outside to the shed and getting out all my holiday tubberwear boxes and making sure all my ornaments are alright. I just got done making my Black Friday shopping list. And now….I WANT TO CUT DOWN A DANG TREE! I’m terrified of chainsaws, thats my husbands job, but I am wanting to go out and get my Christmas tree!
Any other ladies have it bad now that Halloween is over??? Is it too early to start decorating??

I didnt think that I would, but I think I am just itching to decorate or make something and actually have a reason to be doing it!! However, I thoroughly dislike Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving so Im going to have to come up with some winter themed ideas!

We were thinking of getting an 8 foot tree and putting it in our front room this year which is an open concept room (I don’t remember the name, it’s where the ceiling is 2 stories high lol) and just going allll out this year. YAY CHRISTMAS!

Lol, I read your title and I thought you were having issues with some environmentalists or something :). We always do a fake tree, but I’m dying to start decorating soon, too!

@MissFlipFlops: haha THANK YOU! I knew there was a name for it, I’m on vacation right now and having mind blanks galore.
Last year we moved into a house with a fireplace for the first time, so I had to have my tree by the fire. Now that I’ve had that, I want it in front of the big window in the front of the house and MASSIVE. Oh yes.

We mayyyyyyybe kind of sort of purchased a new Christmas tree already. Last week. As in, before Halloween. 🙂 We haven’t put it up yet — but I have a feeling that it’s going to go up sooner rather than later!

I do, but I want to get our dining room finished before I start dragging out the xmas goodies.
I think it helps that we’re getting a tree from my partner’s boss this year (freeeeee!), otherwise I would be out in the back yard sizing up our Charlie Browners haha!
