I think you could do a wedding shower.  It’s a party for the couple. We had casino night for one of our friends.  We set up the house and had different card tables and we played casino-ish games.

As for the Bridesmaid or Best Man, I think the groom needs to talk to him and set him straight.  How close are they?

Fiance may go to a strip club for a small part of this bparty (which doesn’t bother me personally at all) but for the “main event” he wants to go to a nice dinner and to a local microbrewery or scotch/bourbon bar with his closest friends.  For my party, since I don’t drink, I suggested to the girls we either have a girls night in so the ones that want can have martinis or mimosas while we all watch chick-flicks and do mani/pedis.  My other suggestion was to spend the afternoon at the amusement park we went to growing up.  If we both ended up having our parties in our home town (we live 8 hrs away so that’s still up in the air), we want to all meet up for a bonfire at the end of the night.  My point is there are PLENTY of ideas for non-naked lady bparties=)
