I understand what you are going through completely. I feel like if my parents did support my wedding and were a part of it, they would want it to be their way. I’m sorry this joyous time has come to such a frustration. The best thing to do I think is keep your siblings in on what your parents are changing so that you can make sure is not against what you want before its too late. Siblings are the best spies in Indian families. 😉
Just remember, they love you and want to give you the best day of your life (in their definition) Good luck hun!

Sorry to hear fizics. My parents are paying for part of my wedding also so I can relate to where you are coming from. While my parents have not resorted to changing things behind my back (partially because I have not given them the information regarding the vendors) I have had to make concessions because they are paying for it. It’s turning out to be much more formal then we ever had imagined. At times, I feel the same way as you. Why am I having a wedding again? or Can we just get this day over with already? But every now and then I’ll stumble across some really cute detail that I can fold into the wedding and it makes me happy all over again.
Try to establish some control over your wedding if only it is the littlest of details.
