@Miss Mitzie: omg! that is so uncalled for. and not to mention nuts. Sometimes people don’t know when to let go. And she seems like one of them. Good thing  you are calling the police.  If you didn;t. you don’t know what she might do next.

Yikes!  If the police don’t do much about the stalking, then they should at least do something about the death threat (especially since it’s against a minor).

State laws vary greatly on how they handle stalking. For instance, a girl I went to school with was kidnapped and murdered and the state passed a stalking law, so hopefully your state has something similar

yup, definitely time to call the police.  Another option (though pricey) would be talk to a lawyer.  sometimes they have options that you otherwise wouldn’t know about.

also, having everything she’s doing on record with the police is helpful if/when she DOES try something even more horrid than phone calls/texts.

hope something can be done and soon!!! sounds like that woman needs help.  serious help.

What a FREAK! I second the lawyer thing. Many lawyers will consult with you and even look over the evidence and give you suggestions free of charge before you hire them outright. I think it’s an avenue you should explore!

This has gone beyond “jealous ex-girlfriend” territory.  She is clearly crazy and is threatening your child.  Not ok.  I’m glad you are calling the police.  Like others have said, start keeping track of this and save everything. This involves your safety and your child’s safety.

Just out of curiousity, does she know where you live?

Please keep us updated on this – good luck.

I believe that the cops would definatly do something about it since it has now escalated to involve your daughter.  I hope things get better for you.  Good luck and keep us updated.

@Miss Mitzie:that;s stalking i’d take her crazy ass to the police and get a restraining order for her… it’s the gift that keeps on giving

What a sad, sad little woman. 2 years ago? Wow, you know what she has been doing since then. Nothing.

Hopefully she leaves you a nice voicemail. That will really help in proving what a lunatic she is. Do either of you have voicemail? Maybe have your VM message be the two of you together, to annoy her, so she lets loose on her volatile tongue. Try not to get too upset over it, that is what she wants after all.

ohh I am so sorry you have to go through this! I also think you should get the police involved. Just make the initial report and then report every other incident that happens – threatening your child is so wrong! Once they have a record of it they can start to do something about it.

Omg I feel so bad for you and your Fiance – she sounds completely off her rocker and mentally unstable.  I second all of the advice from other PP about obtaining legal advice and possibly a restraining order.  I also wanted to add that, although your wedding is a year and a half away, if you have a Wed-site you need to desperately put a password on it (Weddingwire offers this and I’m sure others do too).  I hate the thought of this crazy chick being about to Google your names and find a time and a location.

Best of luck with this crazy & keep us posted!

I am so sorry that you have to deal with that! How awful of her that girl is a nut job. I would try and not answer ANY phone numbers you don’t know and let it go to voicemail. That way you have hard evidence of her ACTUALLY saying something hateful to you. Definitely go to the police and keep reporting things, the more it escalates, especially with your daughter now (totally uncool if someone said that to me I would go bat s*** crazy on them). good luck keep us updated
