Honestly if I was her, telling you my favourite dress was the other one would be how I would gently tell you I didn’t want you to wear the same dress as me. The other dress looks great, I would either go for that or find a dress in the style of the first one.

The first dress is stunning on you. Unless you and your friend are the exact same colouring, hair type, body type etc. it will look a little different on each of you. I would go for something in the same style over the 2nd dress personally. ETA – Different flowers, different veil, different hair – it won’t look the same at all. Even adding in a belt could make it look different.

Well l like the second dress SO much more, ( l don’t like the half see-through look, and the heavy zipper) so l feel easily able to say yeah, no, don’t get the same dress as your friend.
I should add you look great anyway.

Same venue – not weird
Same dress – Yeah maybe a little odd
Second dress – AMAZING! Much better than the first.

I personally find it weird that you picked her venue, then her dress. It’s a little creepy am sorry thats’s my opinion. Like a venue is a venue, cool whatever, but then the dress. I mean there’s a trillllllion dresses out there, why would you even want to have the same dress as your friend? Plus social media? Same dress as same venue, same pics? I don’t know the whole thing is weird. Pick another dress, you have a slamming figure, it won’t be hard to find something else equally as beautiful.

the1runningwife : I love the first dress on you. I don’t know, I don’t think I would have asked “permission” about the venue because it’s like asking persmission to “copy” her. I agree it’s a sticky situation of two of your choices exactly matching hers. Is it really an exact match? Personally, I think feeling comportable with what you are wearing is important. That also includes feeling comfortable in your audience. I’d say go with your gut.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t like the first dress anyway… it’s got several features I find unattractive or cheap looking (cheap dress, not person, like the waist seam). The dress your friend says she prefers- and I agree it’s probably to politely tell you to lay off – is a thousand times prettier and more elegant looking. I wouldn’t waste another second on the original.

Another vote for the second dress. It looks completely perfect on you. It eclipses the more form fitting option, which also looks damn good. Your beautiful, long hair looks perfect with dress two. It’s a romantic look. I can’t you could top that
