i just wonder. why do we as brides OBSESS over finding the perfect wedding shoes?? i searched and found these adorable shoes PERFECT for my beach wedding. low heel, sparkly which i love, comfortable, fancy. i just LOVE them!
then i went for my dress fitting last week and basically realized NO ONE is going to see them! i am going to wear them ALL and they will be hidden by my lovely dress. i kinda knew this already, but when i was at the fitting, i realized i could be wearing foam flip flops and it wouldnt make a difference!

I always look at the shoes, someone will notice 😉
Also it’s like sexy undies, even though no one knows you’re wearing them they make you feel way hotter than plain old ones!

I didn’t even buy new shoes for my wedding. I know, that’s weird. I plan to wear a pair of silver sparkly heels that I’ve worn to a few other weddings. They are comfortable to dance in. And they look a lot like yours. You are absolutely right, in my long dress- no one will see them anyway. I do love those shoes by the way. They will look great with lots of other dresses!

@EmeraldR: thats true, i am going to be a bridesmaid shortly after my wedding and so i might wear them again -knee length dress!

lol, why do we obsess over anything wedding related? Are guest really gonna sit there and go “I think she should’ve done a 1 tier veil?” or “that necklace needs some pearls” (hehe, no offense at all to you, but yes I am using your last few posts as an example)… or anything like that. nope! We’re just crazy.. haha.. Fiance says it to me all the time, “Girls make weddings so complicated and expensive, if it were up to a guy, it’d be done in 3 days and cost a fraction what its gonna cost us”

I always say the only thing that matters about the wedding shoes is that they’re comfortable. Having said that, I have about four photos where they make an appearance under my skirt while I’m slightly lifting my skirt dancing, going down stairs or during garter removal, so they do need to be somewhat cute 🙂 Your shoes fit both criteria so it’s a win win!

@pinkshoes: LMAO! totally true! and no offense taken, i am fully aware over my own insanity and obsession and i thank you for participating in it this weekend 🙂
i do manage to rationalize the other accessories because they have to be perfect “for the pictures”! and for the “look” that day. whereas the shoes won’t be seen unless you life up your dress! obviously this excludes brides with shorter dresses. then i can totally understand shoe obsession!
i know i definitely can’t wait to be a wedding guest again AFTER my wedding so i CAN notice and analyze EVERY detail!
oh and my Fiance is the same as yours – he totally thinks the whole process is pure insanity.

They will notice when you dance or lift your dress up to walk or when you are stepping out of the limo or into the limo..

I thought about the whole shoe thing too. I decided to be barefoot on the beach and wear my heels during the mini-reception afterward. Cute shoes are always fun and obsessing about weddings will never stop til the actual day is done, LOL 🙂
