Yay KM!  I’m hoping to go back on Monday (my car has to be fixed first so I can drive it).

Woohoo! Congrats to a great start on the New Year.  I’m sitting here on WB all dressed in my running gear…and I still need to get off the couch to actually run! My motivation (or lack there of) is getting the best of me!

Hehe, well I’m cleared for anything that I can do except lifting.  I’m not allowed to lift over 10 pounds until after my next appointment in Jan.  Right now, I’m just going to start with the elliptical instead of jumping into spinning since I haven’t done that in over a year.

Yeah, it’s not for everyone.  I really like it, I take my time with it though.  I don’t always increase the tension when they say if I feel like I am dying already.  Step is fun but it’s a little hard on my knees sometimes!

Good job KM.  I give you mad props for going. It’s so hard to motivate myself to go, but Fiance and I have a bet going to see who can lose more weight in January and February.  The winner gets 200 bucks. That’s enough to buy my shoes for the wedding day. So I need to get on it!

Three words: Icy Hot Lotion. Back when I played rugby, the whole team used to *reek* of that stuff, but it works. Smear it over the areas that hurt right before bed, and be prepared to do laundry and shower in the morning 🙂 Oh – and do some light activity today, to help flush the lactic acid out of the sore areas. Whatever you do, don’t just sit around and do nothing!

Also, props for getting back to the gym! It’s soooooo hard after a long hiatus, but worth it.

@KMSull: Try Champion sports bras and you shouldn’t have to wear 2.  They carry up to a 44DDD.  http://www.championusa.com

On the other hand, I have to run 10 miles this morning!  Fun!

Yay for you KM! The day after is so awful. I’m trying to work out regularly for the first time in…. 2.5 YEARS. I feel like I am going to die. That’ll go away….right? Smile

KM – I always overdo it the first time too!  It seems like we’ll if I’m here, I should just do everything, right?

My Fiance and I just went running together for the first time in at least 2 years, yay! We both do some other activities on our own – basketball, him – soccer, me, but it’s nice to motivate eachother too!
