I can understand your worry! Your wedding is soon!!  So, how much weight pound wise do you need to lose?

Hugs! Im sure you wont look like a cow. You still have time to at least get back to a 14. Try to do an hour of cardio daily, cut down your calories (sparkpeople.com has a great calorie counter) and drink as much water as you can. I know its a lot but if you want results you have to put in the work.  You can do it!

You can totally get back down to a 14 before your wedding in June! No worries, and even if you don’t, you are totally gorgeous and I honestly don’t think anyone will even think anything but how stunning you are! It sounds like you got up to a size 18 fairly quickly, which means that fortunately you will be able to lose the weight pretty quickly. Good luck!!!

First off, good for you for being a full-time student and working full-time and planning a wedding! This is an incredible abount of work, and I’m not surprised that you’re under stress! I totally empathize with the stress-eating, and that can be really difficult with a wedding on the horizon.

It sounds like you have a good plan with the stationary bike, but I wouldn’t worry about it too much! Whenever I look at wedding pictures or when I attend weddings, I basically don’t even notice the bridesmaids, let alone compare them to the bride. Maybe that sounds bad, but it’s true.  The bridesmaids all basically look the same, and it’s the bride who stands out and shines–no matter what her size is. It will be your wedding day, and you will be glowing and beautiful just because of the excitement and passion of the day.  Personally, I’m a fan of curvy brides. 

But no matter what, focus on your health and happiness. Ride that bike, because even if it doesn’t change your size, it will help you relieve some of that stress you’re under. I’m sure you will be beautiful!

@Soon2BMrsMiles:Can I recommend a book to you? Please don’t be offended by the title (I read this book with only 25 pound to lose). It’s about the mentality that a whole lot of women have in America that makes it VERY difficult to lose weight.

 

You need to change your perspective and your self worth in order to not sabotage all your effort.

 

The book is Obese from the Heart . I think it’s a good read. Also it’s really short, you could read it in a sitting.

 

You can lose the weight, you just need help with a positive attitude.

Good for you for working on many other important parts of your life and your career. This is a really exciting time for you!

The same thing happened to me, but I was no only able to loose what I wanted I lost more!!

Here is what I did: Mostly the southbeach diet but I modified it. I stocked my freezer with frozen fruit and when I was in a rush I threw fruit, nonfat plain yogurt, flax seed and wheat germ in a blender and made a smoothie. I also baked a bunch of chicken breast at one time and seasoned them all a little different, cut them up and so they were ready to make quick wraps or throw them on on of those ready made salad bags. The most important thing is to stay away from complex carbs {sugar}. Trust me, I’m a totally emo eater too and if I can do it you totally can do it!!

the best and most important advice i can offer to go see a nutritionist ASAP!  they will work with your habits, lifestyle and goals and develop a plan to follow that CAN be achieved because it will be personalized to you.  i did it. took me a year to lose 20 pounds, but thats because i cheated ALOT and even gained a few over the holidays.  but as of today i reached my goal – a month before my wedding.  

and i found it was only difficult for the 2 weeks because of all the measuring and portion control i had to learn.  i was still eating foods i love and actually had to eat MORE during the day and i started losing weight instantly!! i highly recommend seeing a nutritionist.  good luck.

You will look beautiful! On your wedding day, you will have that natural bride glow. I know you are not where you want to be now, but you can do some working out before your wedding. June is still 3 months away. I know it does not seem like a lot of time, but you can still do great things with this :-).

I”ve been on the HCG diet for the past 17 days. Today I have reached a total weight loss of 14.7 lbs. Yes, it can be seen as extreme, but I’m so happy with the results. If you need something FAST, you might want to consider it.

I”m a full time student who works full time as well. I kept trying to budget time into my schedule to go to the gym, but I was KILLING myself to get there, and could usually only go once or twice a week. I heard about the diet on the news, so I did some research and decided to try it. I’m not going to lie – it was difficult at first, and I still get tempted, but it’s all about making smart choices, healthy cooking, and portion control. If you want more info, PM me. I’m not getting paid by anyone, but I feel like if it worked for me, it could work for other people who are desperate to lose weight FAST. I never thought I’d be able to get below my regular 155-160 and break my inner fat kid habits, but I’ve been so motivated to stick to it  b/c I’m seeing results so fast. 

Oh, and I’ve lost .5″ from my bust, 1″ from my waist, and 3″ from my hips. I was particular interested in slimming my hips since I’ve been told I have “birthin’ hips” (welcome to the south…) and my dress is somewhat form fitting and emphasizes my hips so now I look more proportionate 🙂
