Hike! He’s not super outdoorsy and likes to rest at home on the weekends. I’d love to do more hiking with him.

happyowlbee :  My boyfriend is also not outdoorsy or into working out but recently I’ve been asking him to go on more walks with me. He’s not into hiking but if we stay on a pretty flat trail, he’s ok. This weekend he asked if we could go to a movie (a typical request) so I countered with, yes, if we also go on a walk. It worked and we went on an hour-long walk along the river! 🙂

I’m with the other bees, I’d love it if he cleaned more. I’m not even greedy, just clean up your own messes. And put your clothes in the freakin hamper!! I hate the laundry scavenger hunt every weekend

Not necesarily just “travel” but be more adventurous in general. Like lets get up early and just go for a drive and see where we end up types of things. However, until the weding is over there is little free time!

Also clean. laughing

Hahaha I love how often cleaning is coming up!

I wish mine would notice things need cleaning without me having to tell him! He’s always great when I ask him to do something – he gets up and takes care of it right away – but he just doesn’t notice messes on his own.

As PP mentioned, I also wish he would finish tasks 100%! For example, our stand mixer lives in our counter, and when he cleans the kitchen he will wipe down the counters, but he won’t move the mixer to clean behind/under it hehehe.

lovesbooks99 :

I wish Darling Husband would try more foods. He is beyond picky and on our honeymoon (just last week!) we went to Jamaica and every single day for lunch he went to the little pizzeria stand and got a cheese pizza and every single night he ordered a plain hamburger (extra ketchup!) from room service. He rarely steps out of his comfort zone when it comes to food, to the point I feel I need to always look at menus before I choose a restaurant to make sure there is something on there he likes. Haha It’s not deal breaker by any means, but it is frustrating at times! But hey, he likes what he likes, or at least that’s what he says! I still love him like crazy!

ETA: I am the minority here as far as cleaning goes though, Darling Husband is an awesome cleaner, far better than me! I definitely lucked out there from the sounds of it! 🙂

I wish my Darling Husband was more openly emotional. His nickname is the machine. I like that he is always very cool and calm, which balances out my crazy moods. But like, I’ve never in 10 years seen him cry, or get overly super excited for something or upset really.

Luckily enough, he cleans up after himself. Not to my standard, but close enough 😉

lulubelle2017 :  I paired up all his socks yesterday and threw out the ones that could be used as glass they were so transparent. He sulked for a good half an hour after because “they still had plenty of wear in them”. We had to have a memorial service for the bloody socks.

lovesbooks99 :  I wish my husband would be OK with me driving more. He’s an awful passenger so I tend to be the passenger, which means I get “where’s the turning?” When we’re in the middle of nowhere and have no reception or satellite signal for our phones or sat nav.

lovesbooks99 :  That is too funny! Just a few weeks ago I really wanted to try sushi, so I had to go with my brother, who is a VERY adventurous eater! I ate my fair share of different things in Jamaica, but I just wished he would have at least tried a bite of some things! How do you know you don’t like it, if you don’t try it!?!?!

lovesbooks99 :  my friend just married a man and is in the same situation! What she does to “get around it” (haha) is book travel to things he’s super into, like he loves wine so they will go to Bordeaux in France, or to Tuscany, and she just plans on visiting vineyards then adds on a day here and there for non-wine things for her. Works out well!
