@badabing88:  What a douche!! Seriously, that’s not even funny. It’s actually kind of pathetic.

Honestly, I don’t find the Nathan Fielder thing funny either. I’m glad there are some ladies here who are secure enough that they wouldn’t worry at all from something like this but I would definitely flip out.

And when I found out that it was just a stupid prank that he would be screencapping and putting on the internet? Yeah, he’d be dumped.

This was featured on the blog “STFU couples” and the blog’s creator wrote this (which I completely agree with) “someone who would inflict this type of mental and emotional anguish on their partner just for funsies is not someone who is capable of being a caring and loving partner”

OBVIOUSLY, if you are the type of couple who regularly “punk” each other that might be a different story and to each their own but in my relationship, no way!

Yeah that would piss me off. My SO does this inadvertently sometimes – not about bad things that he’s done but about bad news.

He’s like “I’m sorry, I have some really bad news” in a serious voice and goes on for at least a minute trying to pre-reassure me. Just when he’s got me convinced that someone died, I drag it out of him and it turns out to be like the store has stopped selling our favorite brand of chips or something.

I have done it to him inadvertently too, sometimes I set up some “big deal” thing I’m going to tell him over chat, and then I get called away because I’m at work, and leave him in suspense for a really long time.

That’s horrible! Darling Husband would never do that to me because a) i would slap him silly and b) he wouldn’t be able to handle it if I did that to him! He’d probably hunt me down before sitting around waiting for an hour lol

This is crappy.

I would not be amused.

Although, if my Fiance text me that, I probably would think he was talking about lying about buying a video game or some dumb nick-nack lol.

Okay, I admit it, I laughed. I mean I would probably panic too, no lie, but like someone else said- clearly these were not good relationships in the first place. And it can definitely backfire. But… yeah, I found it kinda funny.

I read the other responses too and a lot of them weren’t nearly as bad as these. Yeesh!

I also really liked his text prank where you text your parents “got 2 grams for $40.”

That is an awful thing to do! However, it was a little funny how the SO knew exactly what was going on and subsequently ended it (you can tweet that!) Wooow.

@tallierand:  Lol me too

I would totally just start guessing random funny things, but we both do that all the time (though the non-response might have me worried).

“I need to tell you something…”

“You don’t actually like Nutty Buddies??”

@marhino:  I was just about to mention that other prank. I nearly died laughing from some of the responses, especially the ones where the mum didnt have a clue and offered him money for his study books
