Now I have that song stuck in my head :/  Thanks…

I’d say the biggest, riskiest thing I did for Darling Husband was before we were engaged.  He had just moved into my apartment (he lived 3 hours away and instead of renewing his lease in his town he relocated for me *swoon*)  He drove a POS car that started most of the time.  He also couldn’t find a full time job, so he took two part time gigs to pay his own bills.  Well, honey, if your car doesn’t start every time, you’ll lose one of those jobs because you can’t get there.  So, I put $8,000 towards a car and we both signed the loan & title paperwork.  We got him set up in a 2008 Mazda 3 with very low miles 🙂  I joked that it was an ‘engagement’ car because signing paperwork together for a loan was a huge commitment.

I didn’t know it at the time, but his credit wasn’t as awesome as he thought it was because he had just bought my engagement ring and used the store’s ‘1 year no interest’ promotion to do it.  He proposed about a month later 🙂

The craziest thing I have done for my Darling Husband was one month after we started dating.

When I was 19 and my Darling Husband was 20, he had to sell his guitar to help pay for tuition for college.  After he sold it, we would visit guitar shops and he kept drooling over one guitar.  He’d pick it up at the store and play it for 30 minutes before putting it back on the shelf before we left.

Christmas was a month away, but I knew I wanted to get him that specific guitar.  Being a poor college student, I didn’t have enough money for a brand new guitar so I took on 3 part time jobs and saved every last penny of my paychecks.  The day after Christmas we exchanged gifts and I gave him the guitar-  I’ve never seen anyone more shocked in my life.  He totally wasn’t expecting it.

My mother thought I was insane purchasing something so expensive for someone I had only been dating 30 days.  She actually tried talking me into returning it.

We’ve been together 7 years now and he still has the guitar, btw.  🙂

My Fiance moved asked for a duty station change to here in Texas from all the way from Alaska. He said he knew before he met me that I was his perfect dream. That was two years ago. We bought a house last year and we arent even married yet.

It was crazy, impulsive, and it started the whole thing for me and Mr. 99.  We had met at his niece’s birthday party, and the moment I clapped eyes on that man I was infatuated with him.  He was everything I wanted and he literally consumed my thoughts…we had been tip toeing around each other for about a month, getting together in group situations and just hadn’t had the chance.  I was getting ready to move into my house, he offered to help and that day, it rained…and rained…and rained.  My entire family vacated the state for various vacations and I was alone, I had bought a house for a family I didn’t have and I needed a sign…something, anything!  I was in my apartment, looking at all the boxes and bags, Mr. 99 and I had called off the move, I was walking through the parking lot to the car, and on the ground was a head’s up penny….that was all I needed, I scooped it up, changed into some cute jeans and a t-shirt, picked up a six pack of beer and was on Mr. 99’s doorstep an hour later….I didn’t leave his place that night and we’ve been together ever since.

Not so much for as with… but we moved across the planet to be English teachers together when we hated our normal jobs.

I sort of left the air force for him. After I had split with my ex, I applied and got accepted into the air force, to escape from everything and start over from scratch. However just before I was about to begin my training I met my husband and we started dating and I realised that I was going into the air force for all of the wrong reasons. So I gave up my application and not regretted it for a minute!
