I really would like to have place cards (not escort cards, we will just have a seating chart) but I dont want to offend anyone by telling them who they can and cant sit next to. I pretty much just want them because I found some adorable ones that would really look lovely on the table. I was wondering if maybe we could write something on them other than the persons name. Like ‘Thank you’ or a cute little saying.
These are them. They look large in the pic but they are small. Suggestions bees?! 🙂

Are you planning on having favors?
You could use them as the tag.

@astratkotter: are you having a plated dinner? you could use these to indicate what type of dish the person is having.

@astratkotter: I’ve seen escort cards used just as a way to “save your seat” when you are up and about. You could also just arrange them by table number, and not assign an individual seat per guest. This way, guests aren’t lost, but they also get to choose who they sit next to. I will be doing this, because I have divorced/re-married parents who don’t exactly love eachother… lol
