I have to admit that I used to have an uncertified I stone,  I previously posted on page 3 post 35. I have since changed the diamond to a certified diamond as I was never happy with it . I saw the inclusions constantly and not the beauty of the diamond . my new diamond is excellent cut  vs2 F colour and I LOVE it. I look at it every now and then not constantly like I used to but now it’s to admire the beauty of the sparkle !

plpinkinsa2001 :  YES! Galaxy diamond is exactly the description that was used on the company’s website. Thank you everyone for your kind words. The next time I’m feeling down about someone’s comments, I’ll come right back to this post! Here are a couple more pictures for you guys. =) (Can’t wait to gets pictures of the diamond under a micro lens.)IMG_9311FullSizeRender (1)

plpinkinsa2001 :  Thank you! And no, I didn’t. Although, I do wish I had… We had purchased from Midwinter Co. and my experience wasn’t the best. However, I chose not to pursue my issue, as I’d like to look at my ring and not be reminded of a negative experience.

I think mine is i2-i3 but I’m really not sure because it was bought pre-owned, but I looked at retail listing for identical rings and that’s what they said.

I also looked at the website for the jewellery store most people in our area would go to to buy a ring new (Charm Diamond Center) and even thier most expensive engagement ring ($14999) is i1.

I just got this baby last week!! I couldn’t wait to post here because this thread gave me some post-purchase peace of mind when I started worrying that I fell in love with an i2! We looked at tons of diamonds and I found that I cared more about the color than having a couple visible inclusions when I closed one eye and held it an inch from my face. Now that I’m wearing it, I’ve found that my ring has a top and bottom so to speak and I look for the spots every morning to figure out which way I prefer to wear it 😛

Here is my new solitaire it is a 2.01 Ct I I2 it has a lot of sparkle. I have it paired with a 1/2 Ct ring enhancer and a 1 Ct 5 stone band. We probably paid too much for it, it was in the neighborhood  of 8600 before taxes.

Danie.pearce :  Mine is a 2 carat I1 Hcolour diamond ring size 71/2.  It has a small carbon speck that you can’t hardly see. Otherwise its a fairly eyeclean diamond and it Sparkles like crazy. Got this diamond at Zales.
