@iarebridezilla: oh my goodness. I’m now even more terrified of the birth process. I have heard of the ripping possibility and episiotomy, but man your story is scary. So glad you and baby are ok. Love the pics and your captions haha. She is so cute with those chubby cheeks!! I lol’d at getting all the anal he’s been after comment.

Christ on a cracker, woman! GAH! I am glad your recovery is going well, but that sounds horrifying!
And seriously, oh my god – that is a cuuute freakin’ baby. I love all her hair! She is such a little eskimo. LOVE the “ok” picture too, such a crack up!

I laughed, I cried, I screamed. What a birth story! Glad to hear you’re recovering well, and I know it was all worth it for that perfect little girl! Congratulations, she’s lovely!

@iarebridezilla: I have no idea how I missed your recap post! I’ve been keeping an eye out for it!
First, congrats on your INSANELY gorgeous baby girl! She is CLEARLY a character (almost like she’s related to her mother or something…)
Congrats on going natural right up until the bitter, bitter end! Only you could make me laugh at a story that involves a 4th degree tear and vacuum extraction (which immediately made me worry that I’ve cursed myself to a similarly traumatic birth).
I hope you’re still healing well and everything is going well!

She is absolutely beautiful! I’m terrified by your birth story and my stomach hurts a little, but isn’t it amazing how those little faces make it all worth it. Congratulations!

Congrats on your little bundle! I told my husband about this and he laughed and thought it was so funny. Hopefully it doesn’t happen to me!

Oh my goodness! Only you could have me laughing while reading a 4th-dg-tear birth story 🙂 Congrats, she’s beautiful! Good to hear you have been healing with no pain!

So what did you think about the doula? Did you find that she was essential or just nice to have? I felt that having one was essential for an unmedicated birth.

@iarebridezilla: you are one strong woman. i just peed a little in my pants….

Beautiful baby!!! I have to laugh at your Saw blood spray reference…I actually had that same sort of blood spray thing happen. All of a sudden the doctor and nurses faces were covered in blood. Weird. I hadn’t torn at all though, so I’m not really sure what it was about.
