OMG she’s absolutely adorable. Look at all that hair! I had no idea a vaganus was even possible but it sounds like something straight out of a horror movie. You seriously deserve a medal for enduring such a thing!!! Congrats on your LO mama! πŸ™‚

@iarebridezilla:  Congratulations!  She is beautiful.  Amazing story and attitude.  I hope you continue to heal well.  Did the OB’s at least thank you for getting that brazillian?? πŸ˜‰ Probably made their stitching job easier!

Perhaps, just perhaps I should not have opened this thread a) on my due date b) as I’m losing my mucus plug and c) experiencing BH contractions, all forcing me to believe labor is imminent when d) a fourth degree tear is my biggest fear about  this whole thing.

Shit.

That being said, you sound no worse for wear and she’s a beauty! Congrats!

Dear God. After reading this story, I’m not sure I ever want to get pregnant! I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW A VAGANUS COULD HAPPEN! My vagina hurts now after reading that.

That being said. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! She is beautiful! πŸ™‚

First, she is beautiful! Congrats!

Second, your attitude about it all is amazing. I think its the healithest approach. We arent in control when it comes to this miracle called birth. So the fact that you arent getting caught up in the “OMG I didnt get my birth according to my plan” and are embracing all of it I say KUDOS to you#

OH MY GOODNESS. First off, your baby is beautiful!!

Second– you are a rockstar. I hope i can act the way you did in my labor in THIRTY-NINE days and counting down. eesh!

Third–you poor lady parts. We just went over tearing and episiotomys at last week’s birth class, and your scenario is my worst nightmare. I’m so glad you are ok though… and able to poop. I hope you heal quickly. You poor thing.

Thanks for sharing your story!

@iarebridezilla:  Oh my gosh. Reading this was like reading my birth story (for the most part). It is so similar to yours. My baby was born (also drug free) September 30th. I’ll have to write out my story on here soon. I’m glad after everything, you and baby are doing so well. Congratulations. She’s beautiful.
