@iarebridezilla: Congratulations!!!!! She’s just lovely πŸ™‚

Everything about this story is just…horrifyingly spectacular. Tearing like that is my greatest birthing pain-related fear, so it’s remarkable to see someone go through the worst.case.scenario like a boss.

I told my husband about the vaganus sitch and he too, like many other PPs’ SOs, has been scarred for life.Tongue Out

Congrats again, and welcome to the world Audrey!

Wow… cool birth story! So glad to hear your pain level is pretty low after all that! I think I saw a Youtube video once that was pretty much like what you just described.

My poor mum had to have an episiotomy with me because my head was so damn large.

Go enjoy your new little family πŸ™‚

She is adorable! As I am less than a week from my due date, stories like yours freak me out a little, but then I see how in the end baby and mommy are healthy and happy and I feel so much better! Thanks for sharing and congratulations!

@iarebridezilla:  holy fucking Christ! My uterus is up somewhere by my lungs right now! I am the biggest baby ever and literally I just want to go buy a couple kids from china now! Fiance will have to deal!

Ok but a serious question now and maybe Too Much Information… After having a single hole or vaganus how in the hell are you pooping without a shot of morphine! 1. I despise pooping! 2. Pooping with stitches makes me go a little insane!

So, you pretty much described my worst fear. At least I can put a name to it now: vaganus. You are a lot braver than me because even if I didn’t need a medical c-section I would opt for one anyway. I just can’t…I am glad the happy baby pictures took my mind off the terrible, horrible pain (that you somehow can’t feel!!!).

Congratulations. Your daughter is beautiful.

Oh my goodness–she is GORGEOUS. Holy cow, her hair is amazing. CONGRATS!

Also, DH’s best friend’s wife had a 4th degree tear, as well. Big-headed baby, got stuck, almost the same situation that you were in, actually.

She’s so pretty with those cheeks and all that hair! Congratulations.

I’m sorry for you about your vaganus (and for me that I read about it at 38w, lol). Hopefully that all heals up well.

@iarebridezilla:  Ahhhhh, my friends and I used the term vaganus in high school! Bringing back memories. I’m sorry you have one! Boo πŸ™

Seriously, that baby is straight up beautiful! Even fresh out of a fairly traumatic birth, she was so cute! You look wonderful, I’m soooo happy for you and can’t wait to start hearing stories of new mommy life! Thanks so much for sharing (in such great detail πŸ˜‰ haha). Hugs!

@iarebridezilla:  Congratulations on your little angel! She’s beautiful! It’s really amazing the things we’re willing to go through to have our babies in front of us. Love is truly amazing, as is the human body. It was scary to read, but thinking about it, I would totally do the same for my baby. Major respect to you though!

@MrsPanda99:  +1. OMG just that story was terrifying. I’ll be having C-section too (medically necessary) when the time comes. THANK GOD.

Oh sweet mother…..this post has my brain conflicted – the story works as wonderful birth control! (Fiance, you are sleeping on the couch, do not get that baby making part near me!!) The pictures switch me back to “awww, fiance – bring those baby making parts closer”…..

You’re a trooper!! Congrats on the safe arrival Laughing And, thanks for the reminder to all of us on how to keep a positive attitude – if a lady with a vaganus can be so positive, the rest of us sure the hell can as well!!
