@remijp:  +1  Congrats, girl!

On another note, I think when I get home tonight I’m asking Fiance if we can just get another cat, lol.

@iarebridezilla:  I’ve been waiting for a week for this!

Having seen more “vaganuses” than I need to, I can honestly say I’ve never laughed so heartily at the thought or real life experience as you describe it.  It’s a skill, lady, and you get mad props.

Well done!  Audrey is lovely, and I don’t say that about all the babies I see.

@Rachel631:  Um, huh? If you’d like a discussion, fair enought but take it to another thread.  THIS thread is about how amazingly

iarebridezilla pushed her baby into the world, not about vaginal vs. surgical birth or how a c/s is “better” than a tear.

@cdncinnamongirl:  No discussion required. I am truly impressed by OP in every way… her attitude, her sense of humour….

She just inspired me to look up some stats as well, that’s all.

Congratulations!  Such a beautiful baby; and thank you for sharing your experience.  Babies are a few years away for me yet but I join PPs in saying that ouch, my nether regions are cringing in pain at the mere thought lol.  Having said that, I can see myself easily being taken over by pregnancy hormones and natural adrenaline that I would hopefully cope in the moment.

what an amazing, well written story. I can’t tell you how many times i jumped up from my chair saying “oh my god” lol. I seriously can’t wait to do this myself in a few weeks.

Your baby girl is beautiful and i’m in love with all that dark hair.

First and foremost…

CONGRATULATIONS…

And your Daughter is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS, PRECIOUS, ADORABLE etc etc

I don’t have enough great adjectives / words to express the wonderful LOVE that comes thru in your post.

I love your posts, and this is another FABULOUS one

Great when a new Mom can share the whole story (good & bad)

As an Older Bee, and longtime Mom myself, I always chuckle a bit when I read BEFORE birth posts where Moms-2B have a “definitive” plan on EXACTLY HOW things are going to be for them.

Lol, ultimately babies (and Mother Nature) have a mind of their own, and rarely do the best laid plans go as organized

And in the end yet… it all good, as Moms are happy to have it all over with (laughed some more at the part where you just sort of throw in the towel… and say what the hell… lets just do this)

Because at the end of the day, all anyone wants after hours of Labour is just a healthy baby

And that is truly ALL that matters

And thankfully so…

You did your best, the Medical team did theirs, and Audrey clearly did hers as well… as she truly is the STAR of the show for your Family now.  Clearly you all in LOVE

FANTASTIC Photos, thanks for sharing.

(( HUGS ))

That was horrifying. I was giggling hysterically while thinking I was going to vomit. I think I need to avoid birth stories, I’m way too sensitive.

Cute kid as a result though! Love the hair! ..and you look amazing in the pics too, for a brand new mum with a ..ergh.. I can’t even type it!

@iarebridezilla:  absolutely….there is no One Right Way to have a baby, and I’m not in the natural/unmedicated/vaginal-birth-at-any-cost camp….just trying to point out that this particular thread may not be the place to open up a debate about the merits of different types of births….cuz, y’know, those discussions can sometimes get rabid pretty fast and turn into the Bee version of West Side Story haha 🙂

@Waitingbee57:  This may be completely inappropriate of me, and if it is just ignore this.

How did you heal? Is everything… ok now?
