(Closed) Ice Cream Maker Recommendations?

@oracle:  I’ve had both. I think the Cuisinart was better. it stays colder so the ice cream doesn’t melt as fast. Otherwise they are pretty similar. It is really fun to make ice cream, or sorbet, you sill really enjoy it. I do find its easier when you have a big freezer or chest freezer so you can leave the ice cream bowl in there all the time and don’t have to plan ahead.

@oracle:  I have the Cuisinart and it works great. I agree with PP about keeping the cylinder in the freezer,but if you have limited space it’s not a problem to store it wherever as long as you plan ahead. I usually put mine in the freezer the day before.
