So along with cheesecake (neither Fiance or I love wedding cake so we opted out). We are having an Ice Cream Sundae bar (instead of the what is now traditional Candy Buffet). The venue is supplying the containers (glass and sliver) as well as the ice cream, we are supplying the toppings.
My question is what would be your favorite topping if you were building your sundae? I want to be sure to have enough variety and not error on the side of just chocolate becasue that is what i love
Chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, whipped cream and cheeries and vanilla ice cream will be provided. Please chime in below on other options… i plan to shop for toppings in a week or so.

I love this idea! I would totally get into this at a wedding.

I hate to be the one who says this, because I love them, but I would skip the peanuts in case anyone has horrible allergies. And Reeses Cups sounds like a fantastic idea!

@jo.lee:anyone horribly allergic to peanuts would be just as allergic to reese’s…

@jo.lee:I totally agree. . .I was just going to say “yes”

Brownies! And I must second Reeses. Oooh, and chocolate chip cookies…

I’m totally plain and would go for the nuts and whipped cream and cherries if they were there. But if those things weren’t an option, I definitely go for the fresh fruits.

Fiance smashes cookie dough in his ice cream 🙂

We just did this at work and skipped the peanuts. The fruit went over HUGE!

Since you are getting married 1/1, I would add Mint Oreos or something wintery n addition to candy canes (which was a cute idea, btw).

We did a sundae bar and everyone loved it! It was my MILs idea, she loves ice cream! When it opened after dinner, some people literally ran to be first in line. Great idea!!
