NBee:  That sounds really cool and unique. I can kind of imagine some folk not wanting to eat ice cream before a meal, or not having the appetite for it, but I would have some! I don’t know the details of your wedding, but perhaps this could be a late snack that could come by the hotel that everyone is staying in, say like the evening before the wedding day. Another idea is for a break time right after decorating the venue (s)? Kind of like to replace a rehearsal dinner..not that ice cream replaces food, but I think switching it up is fun. It matches your personalities and people will remember that!

NBee:  Ice cream truck yes! My friend did this after her ceremony as it was such a highlight. Cut down flavour options to speed up service.

NBee:  I was just at a wedding where they had an ice cream truck after the ceremony. It was a huge hit, people loved it and the truck was pretty quick so there wasn’t a long line/waiting time. I think their photographer also got come really cute pictures.

PS. I also love ice cream ๐Ÿ™‚

Love this idea! We were thinking of doing a poutine truck as a late night option and I think an ice cream truck would be just as great!

I would definitely do it after the ceremony or even after dinner, but it’s up to you!

Sounds like a blast!! I vote for after.  Ring bearer and flower girl will likely get messy! ๐Ÿ™‚

I would always say yes to ice-cream! After the ceremony would be easier, since most guests won’t arrive too long before the ceremony starts though they may mill about afterwards. Plus it may take a while to serve all your guests, though this probably depends on how many guests there are at the ceremony, how many workers, etc. You don’t want to have to postpone the ceremony so people can get a scoop of ice cream.

I love this idea! If we had it in the budget I would love to surprise our guests with a late night snack from a food truck. In my opinion you should have the ice cream truck show up towards the end of the night as a nice surprise ending to your reception ๐Ÿ™‚

After, and it sounds awesome!

My only concern is that some people could have health issues that make them feel left out of the fun. So just be sure to have at least one dairy free option (for the lactose intoleran) and one sugarfree option (for the diabetics, and anyone watching what they eat).

Hellz yeah! And i say before bc of what pp said, people will be arriving in small groups. After the truck would be mobbed all at once. I would just start the ceremony a little fashionably late so people can finish up their cones. If it’s after that’s not bad either since it can help fill the gap a bit though
