I am sooooooooooooooo…………………….sorry Cry

Try putting ice on it. Put some ice in a baggie, then wrap it in a wash cloth; hopefully that will help a bit. Also, can you take ibuprofin? That might help too….

Oh my gosh, I feel for you! Sending good healing vibes your way! I am a big pussy when it comes to dental work, my dentist hooks me up with Valium because I get so stressed and panicked. I got two cavities filled on monday, and I still can hardly move my jaw and my gum line is all bruised from the needles.

I’m so sorry to hear that! Get some extra stength Motrin ASAP. You need an anti-imflammatory to take down the swelling, which will then in turn help with the pain. If the pain persists I would return to the doctor and ask for some pain meds. They don’t all have codine in them, so I’m sure they could write you a small script for a couple days.

@SoontobeMrsA: Take baby sips of water to rehydrate and take baby bites of saltine crackers to help with the nausea. When you take a bite of the cracker, just take tiny bites and suck on the cracker before you try to swallow it.

OH NOOOOOOOOOOO…. Get a script for toradol! It’s better than a pain killer without all the ucky side effects!

EDIT: It’s non-narcotic and really just like an EXTRA STRENGTH ibuprofen that you can get as a shot or by pill.

Don’t do that. You’ll only need more pain meds.

Wrap frozen peas (still in their bag) with a towel. Put on a hoodie with the hood up and stuff the peas against your face, using the draw strings to hold it up. I did that for a week straight when I had my wisdom teeth out (all were impacted I believe)

Note: it doesn’t smell the greatest but I’m sure you don’t care at this point
