I know the feeling! It gets better though – until you try the next level at least, lol.

I was a total slacker today and skipped it. Annnnd now I’m feeling guilty. Sigh.

I hear you on the sore legs!  I can barely walk up and down my stairs.  Heat really helps though (hot bat, heating pads, etc.).

Question, do you guys do the Shred every single day for the 30 days?  Or do you take rest days?  With my gym routine, I only go 5 days a week.  This is only my third day on Shred, so I was just wondering.

I’ve been doing it every day, but I skipped today ’cause I totally wasn’t in the mood. It was the first day I’ve skipped (technically, second, but I don’t count one because I was the Maid/Matron of Honor in the wedding and I danced my ass of, so that counts for a workout, right?!). I was planning on doing it all the way through, but I’m thinking that might be a bit much for me – I’m getting burned out!

Be careful with the first workout! It was seriously damaging my knees (I couldn’t walk the next day) until I realized that I was doing the lunges and other lower body exercises in the wrong pose (the knees too far forward). The pain should not be so severe, ever!

Once I figured it out, then yes, I was sore all over but at least I could walk 😛 Good luck ! It gets a lot better!

@amanda.lynn: heck yes dancing counts as a workout! Sometimes I feel that more than I feel a gym workout! 🙂

@jordynrose – I know – it’s awesome, right? That’s part of the reason I love dancing. Fun AND a workout. Actually, you ladies will appreciate this – it was my best friend’s wedding, and both her and her husband are doing the shred as well (I got them hooked, lol), and we were busting out moves from the workout as dance moves – knee circles, anyone? It was awesome, haha.

I’ve been a slacker about working out in general. I try to blame it on the moving (does that even count?)

Try taking a shower/bath (hot as you can stand) before bed. Take some tylenol or something, too. That always helps it from being hell to get out of bed in the am.

@amanda.lynn: I am sure Jillian would be thrilled to know she sparked a wedding dance craze. 😉
