I’m having serious issues with EVERYTHING. My mind keeps changing…I’m having dreams about colors….I’m confused and I’m also on a budget.
These are the dresses that I’m drawn to so far:
This is my inspiration:
(minus the chocolate brown) I would like to possibly use light grey or pewter linens on the tables. I also want to use tons of orchids (not real) as my theme.
Do you think the dresses wouuld clash? I really do not want to wear a white or ivory dress. My personality and style is fun and I like to try to new things. I know I sound like I’m all over the place and I am..but please bear with me.

I think the pale pink would look good with the fuschia/purple tones in that inspiration board.

@julies1949: Those are my strongest picks as well, however they are custom and I would have to get the courage to trust ordering my dream dress online. I absolutely LOVED the inspirations boards you posted, so much I swore when I opened them. LOL
I know it will probably seem like alot by adding cherry orchids to fuse with the purplish orchids, but being that I’m on a budget and using faux flowers, I want to add as much depth as I can. Any other suggest on other silk flowers I could mix in?
And if Fiance & Groomsmen wear grey tuxes and my dress will be pink, should Bridesmaid or Best Man wear fuschia dresses, grey, or..?? I know it’s my wedding and should know SOMETHING but my mind needs a buffer LOL
Thank you too Zippy 🙂

One thing I always remember about colors is that no mattter what anyone tells you, all colors go together. Have you ever seen a riot of colors in a garden and said to yourself”That pink doesn’t go with that blue?”
If your men wear gray, I would put the maids in a lighter or darker gray-that way their flowers will pop against the gray background.
As for the orchids, when you are at the store gather the colrs and see what calls to you.

Yes you are absolutely right, in fact I passed a garden today and thought of what you said. I am going over to Michael’s now and take a look, it’s so hard to plan a wedding ON TOP of everything else you have to do. WHEW!!!!
