@MissTempest:  Ok. I think it’s Season 4: Episodes 44 OR 45. But I know one of the girls there had red velvet somethings…good luck! 🙂

Yay books!  Our wedding wasn’t book themed, but H and I are big readers so we did books for our favors.  We also had a mini treasure hunt and the prizes were bookmarks.

It would be nice if bookmarks could be incorporated – STD, invites, or something else the guests can keep. They can be nice ones with a ribbon tied on the top or something.

@peachacid:  I am having this problem, haha! I can’t do it. My FH was like “We can just make our table numbers out of book covers” and I was like “BUT WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF THE BOOK?”

My FH designed a pretty cool table plan, just to play, but with each table (named after our favourite books) he included a quote from the book about love or marriage, which was nice. We had quite a few, because our books are largely classics (he’s doing a PhD in Victorian Literature).

I’m hoping to collect some slightly-worn hardcover books from 2nd hand shops over the next year or so to use in our centrepieces, but we’re also included pumpkins for an autumnal theme too.

I’ve also seen some invites done like library cards – there are some here: http://offbeatbride.com/2012/04/literary-wedding-invitations#.UObJ26V5VOg.pinterest

@MissTempest:  We don’t tend to get so many yard sales over here (rains too much!), but we’ve got a run of about three charity shops and one secondhand bookshop down a road near us, and I got a fantastic copy of Shakespeare’s collected works from one of them for £5!

My mum is also helping my great uncles clear out their house, so she said she’s keeping an eye out for me! 🙂

@peachacid:  I hear you about the ruining books!! It was a very hard/strange concept for me to graspSmile I picked up old copies of classic loved stories from my favorite used book store ( the place is like a book maze). I love that not only the garlands books are written about love but that they also came from very loved/used copies of books. this a a picture of the store, I know all you book lovers will swoon over it as much as I do!!
