I’ve seen cute pics where guests held hands and made and arch (think kids soccer game) and the couple ran under them….. or, you could just have everyone line up and throw rose petals… blow balloons… have sparklers…. bird seed, etc. and then you could go down the row of people and have your photog snap photos.

You  might want to talk to your photog to see if they have ideas for picture ideas that had previously come out really welll….

You are doing a getaway shot simply to get the picture? You will not really be leaving the reception?

Are you sure your guests will be okay participating in this if it is just for the “shot”?

why dont you have them do something when you walk in the reception and make it look like a “send-off” shot? or do something like that after the reception? if you do it at the beginning of the reception, it may be a little less silly to some of the guests.

…and I realized I didnt give an opinion lol

as you walk into the reception have people blow bubbles, they always seem to photograph so nice and it’s better than dodging bird seed or confetti

are you planning on staying at the reception hall until it is completely cleared out? or could you leave about 15 minutes before, when there are still some people around, and have them participate in a real send off??? sparklers at night are alwasy fun!

maybe you can find a cheaper mode of transport  just so you can get the shots you want? Like a taxi if you’re in the city or if it’s day time maybe even bikes (built for two or not) It’ll look fun and cute but you don’t really have to go anywhere.
