I saw a wooden gourd box on style me pretty the other day, it was under the “Canadian Rustic Wedding” I believe — basically they nailed together carved wood in the shape of a gourd, put a little moss in it, and had the rings on top.It was 2 halves, looked like it opened & closed (maybe?) also had twine on it.

I have seen moss pillows too.

we are having a ceramic dish handmade with our names and wedding date, with the rings tied to it with a ribbon. I like this idea because it something we will use for the rest of our lives – it will sit on our dresser as a place to put our rings before bed 🙂 It was also super cheap, at about $12-15 including shipping.

here’s the link to the etsy site where i got it:

I love this look, but its a little “beachy”

This little antique truck is pretty cute too!

We are getting married at a country bed & breakfast with the reception / dance /dinner in a barn. WE are using a lot of gingham and hay bales for a country atmosphere. We have an actual birds nest that our ring bearer will be using. I am going to make a little plllow that fits inside it with a ribbon to hold the rings….  and out flower girl is carrying a milk pail…. I think it will be FABULOUS !
