Do you have pictures with all of them? You could print them out and glue them to cute paper and write/type/stamp your message. Sheets of paper are at Michaels, or you could even do construction paper with different cut outs.

I’m thinking little airplane size bottles of alcohol and writing some sort of toast to the girls and asking them. But I don’t know how cheap the little bottles are.

@In the media: I’m planning on getting some of the little bottles for our hotel gift bags. Depending on what kind you get, they’re around $1-3 a piece. Pretty inexpensive.

And thanks! The girls really loved the cupcakes. I wish the bakery would have abbreviated Maid of Honor and Bridesmaid like I had asked so that it fit a little better but oh well. They got the point! πŸ™‚

I just asked them straight out.  πŸ™ I wish I thought of being creative with it.  I think I was just too excited!

For my daughter’s wedding, she made cards and attached a picture of her with each bridesmaid on the outside with the words “Will you be my bridesmaid?” and on the inside…..

Because……..

You look great in fuchsia,

Someone has to help me go to the bathroom in a big white puffy gown,

I know you will help plan an awesome bachlorette party,

I will give you a great bridesmaid gift,

I want the people I invite to see how beautiful my friends are,

These wedding favors are not going to make themselves,

You get the best view of everything at the ceremony,

I need someone to pretend to want to catch the bouquet,

My Fiance asked for some hot girls to be in the wedding party,

And the number one reason you should be my bridesmaid is…..

I love you and can’t possible do this without you!!

Ah, fiddlesticks.  I’ll probably end up with FSILs, current SIL, and a good friend (who I’ve already asked).  Is it different if they are asked to be in the wedding just because they are relatives?  (My guy wants all of our siblings in the wedding, and a non-related best man.  He’s got two sisters, two brothers, and then there is my brother.  My best female friend may not be able to come, so I may ask my brother’s wife.)

I asked my bridesmaids through snail mail! I bought some custom made “will you be my bridesmaid?” cards off of etsy. In each card, I wrote a meaningful note about our friendship, or a poem about being a bridesmaid. If you’re interested, the etsy seller’s name is fineprintsdesign and she did such a great job.
