Our photog who is a friendor wants to add a Trash the Dress session to their portfolio and offered us that time and the digital negatives from it for free…
I’m not sure what i plan on doing with my gown after the wedding, but I don’t really want to destroy it in any typical TTD fashion, but we think we will take advantage of the offer…
FIs family has a large dairy/maple syrup farm in town and I think that would lend itself well to day after photos.
I’m planning on wearing my gown (having another dress for this is not an option) and Fiance will wear his suit but likely just the shirt with sleeves rolled up and maybe a vest if he wears one.
Skipping the heels in favor of some fun rain boots I already own maybe, but anyone have any ideas for (cheap/easy/quick) props we could use?
Any tips on making my bouquet last until some next day photos as well?

I used Bing and typed in trash the dress photos and several other combos, Then just went thru the pics and found some that fit what I was looking for and gave them to my mom (our photographer and art photographer). I wrote on all the pics how I was using it for inspirations and where in town I thought something inspired by it would work.

i love this idea! my husband’s family has a farm too and i thought about doing this – i wanted to get rain boots too and chase the chickens around or the pigs – maybe ride a horse or get really country with it and drive the gator around. i’m sure there are tons of great ideas on their farm – anything near a barn would be beautiful or fences.

Maybe something that could wash off easily assuming you don’t want to REALLY destroy it? Water balloon fights, washable paint fights? I don’t know really..I have never even thought about this personally… 🙂

Those are great pics! I’d say definitely feed some animals, play in some hay, ride a tractor, and don’t forget to post pics on WB after!!
Edit: I forgot to mention, we’re using our day after photo session as an opportunity to get our thank you card photo done, so we don’t need to bring props with us to the actual wedding. It might be a good time for you to break out a bulap thank you banner or a painted umbrella.
