I can’t find a photo, but the Lowes Creative Ideas bi-monthly magazine had a cute idea of getting fall bulbs (for paperwhites, etc) wrapped in burlap and tied with twine that is really cute and fall’ish.  They also added a tag that had planting instructions and you could add a message on the other side.  If I can find a photo I’ll post it…

Just a few ideas – candy apples, apples you picked with Fiance from a local orchard together, apple cider, gingersnap cookies?

My mom’s apple tree went nutso this year and has a TON of apples on it.  So, I’m stealing some of her apple butter/apple jelly to put into my Out of Town bags….there’s this place called Honeyville in Durango, CO that has a ton of WAY cute ideas (food related) for favors. I can’t remember the address, but I do know they come up in a google search.

I am getting married October 16th 2010 and I plan on making mini pumpkin breads as my favors, hopefully it will work out nicely because the recipe I have tastes so much better if the bread was frozen so I can start making these a few weeks before hand.
