Hello! I’m wondering if any of you have any ideas for filling the day/evening after our 11 a.m. wedding. We are eloping to Jamaica so it will be just the two of us. We will have our ceremony, some cake and take a few pictures. I would be surprised if we’re not done by 12:30. We’re staying at an all-inclusive beach resort in Montego Bay. I’m trying to think of some things we could do to continue to make the day more special. Any ideas?

Book some events for yourselves?
Can you order some special food/champagn to the room to have waiting for you?
Or have them set aside a special area/cabana by the pool for you with champagne etc (even if you have to pay extra for it)

What about his and her massages?? You could also do a romantic dinner in the beach at sunset??

@SimpleGifts: any sunset cruise type option things? either private or public
plus you can often get private dinners on the beach in the evening. i would also have his and hers massages, sounds great to me!

We had the same question!
Ours is later in the day, but still.
We are opting for breakfast, full spa packages (body scrub, massage and hydrotherapy) and then getting ready, our ceremony, pictures, dinner and a late night jazz show..
Can you find out what else the resort offers? Spa, excursions, shows etc

I think full spa day + romantic dinner and possibly a show sounds magical. I think traveling or excursions would be better saved for another day.

Thank you for all of the ideas everyone! I’d love to hear some more suggestions. 🙂

We are eloping and our wedding is at 5pm.
We plan to get up and do a hike first thing in the am. My hair appt. is at 11am. Go out for lunch. Return to lodge and go for a canoe ride or hit the lounge for a drink. Get ready, Photog arrives at 4pm for details/getting ready shots. Ceremony at 5. Fun photos until 7pm, dinner at 7:30pm, hot tub after dinner.

I second the couples massages and candle light dinner….Thats sounds pretty magical. It will be nice to just be able to enjoy each other after getting married…Is there a really nice restaurant close by (like off the resort maybe) that you could have a late lunch at before doing some spa stuff? Sometimes at resorts I find that you get a bit sick of the food on resort so that might be a nice way to celebrate right away?
