So my original plan was to grow my hair out for my wedding. My hair grows really slow so it wouldn’t grow but maybe an 1-3 inches before the wedding. I wanted it to be a little below the shoulders and was going to curl it in spiral curls. However, I was looking at an old picture a little while ago where my hair was pretty short and I really liked it that length. I’d love to be able to go on our honeymoon and not worry about the hair. If you have shorter hair like me, could you post some pictures? I want to get some ideas of how my hair could look if I decided to cut it.
This is the length of my hair now.
and this is the length I would like to go back to.

Hi there – I, too, have hair about your length. My Bridesmaid or Best Man, who is also my hairstylist, helped me to decide that simple and elegant would be the way to go on the big day. So, we went with an assymetrical look…one side pulled up with a little bling and the other side down in a sleek manner. Here’s a pic:

So since you were deciding that you might want to make it shorter for your wedding- does that mean you still want to wear it down or maybe up now?

@anabri09: I’d wear it down no matter what. If I go shorter, my hair will just be straight and if I go longer I’d curl it but still wear it down.

Here’s such a cute wedding day “do”:
I love the wavy loose curls Gwyneth Paltrow has, and could totally see a rhinestone feathered hairclip in the side or a gorgeous flower in her hair! This would be a great wedding day look for mid-length hair!
