Hi! I am hoping I can get some of the bee expert advice :). My Fiance and I are hosting the wedding ourselves (both of us- encore weddings) , and would like to wording to somehow include “invite our dear friends and family to celebrate our love… ” and to include that my 7r old daughter is welcoming my Fiance or he is welcoming her, or joining with us… you get the idea. I want to include her.
I am obviously struggling at how to word this. (a bit of background- her dad is in the picture- so she already has a “dad”, but my Fiance is a huge part of her life and she is very excited for him to officially be in her family. My FI doesn’t have children) IDEAS??

What if she walks you down the aisle (or sits in the front row but answers the question), and the officiant asks something like, “which family is welcoming a new member?” or something like that? It makes it like she is a big part of the decision and welcomes your Fiance at the same time.

@abbie017: Thx- she is actually going to be the flower girl. (she is pretty excited 🙂 )- but that’s an interesting idea. Any thoughts on the invitation?

@sunshinebee: Technically, the invitation indicates who is hosting the event, so there isn’t really a way to really include her in a traditional sense. I have no ideas on that, sorry!
