Hi Bees, I am trying to work out a plan for our reception after-party but I’m not feeling very creative at the moment and Google searches have not been very productive.
I am trying to think of something fun/somewhat unique for our after-party, which will probably consist of friends just coming back to our house and hanging out.
I don’t want to deal with a food truck or anything requiring too much logistical planning. The best I can think of is ordering pizza. Any other ideas out there??

We’re having the wedding on my parents’ property and the after-party will basically be flowing straight on from the end of the reception.
We’re just having BBQ, pizza and salads (my parents have a pizza oven), and a bonfire in one of the nearby paddocks with marshmallows and all the works. The BBQ will be organised by my brothers, the pizza oven will be run by an uncle and one of my dad’s friends, and the salads are being catered for by a local pub – they’re providing 5 different types of salad (in huge quantities), for $80 – easy and cheap.
Other than the bonfire and food, we’re going to set up a TV in one room and a bunch of mattresses for anyone (particularly kids) that want to just relax and watch movies or play games and fall asleep wherever they are. We’ll also have lawn games set up from the reception (badminton, lawn bowls, croquet, etc.), and we’re debating whether to stock up on heaps of water pistols and play a game of capture the flag or something.
