Hi bees 🙂
I am pretty clueless when It comes to flowers. My color is lilac with touches of muted pinks and purples. I want a ribbon handle wrap and am invisoning using a brooch (hopefuly one from my FH grandmother other wise antique shops here I come!) but any other ideas? What about using crystals?

I would suggest creating an inspiration board in photoshop if you have it. If not then tear out pictures of the colors you want to incorporate into your bouquet and your wedding, and build from there.
Personally I found the crystals to be either beautiful nestled in between peonies and clustered sometimes in small groups of two or three. I also have thought about this in my own bouquet. Well, not quite crystals, but vintage diamond buttons, from my grandmother.
the brooch idea is beatiful and who doesn’t love a touch of sparkle and history.
freesia, lilac, viburnum, hydrangea(which can come in a very light pink btw) also there is a hulk hydrangea that could be beautiful.
hope this helps.

p.s. i meant to say the crystals can either be beautiful or not beautiful..it really depends on the flowers your using..

Well, here are some of the flowers you might want to use:
Lilac (obviously), roses (they come in just about every colour imaginable — you can probably even get ones that are lilac with a touch of pink!), hydrangeas (I think they come in light purple…they definitely come in light pink), peonies (if you really want the traditional "bridal" bouquet…peonies come in a nice light blush pink).
You might want to try combing through http://www.theknot.com and http://www.brides.com for ideas — with Brides.com you can sort by flower type, colour, etc., and with The Knot you can search by colour.
