I am tired of racking my brain to come up with non-floral centerpieces. Help! We are going to have at least 40 tables, so I really want to avoid spending on flowers! The reception will be at night, so it will be a formal setting. Most non-floral centerpieces I’ve seen have been really casual. I want to have a total of 3 centerpieces in different heights.
Colors: eggplant purple, silver/gray, & ivory. I am flexible on this. Show me centerpieces in any color, please.
1. Low centerpieces: ??
2. Medium: silver candelabras
3. Tall: ??
Please post pics of non-floral centerpieces. Below is a pic of my venue. Thanks in advance!

We are doing photo centerpieces, using family wedding photos. This isn’t a great picture, but you get the idea. There is a diffent photo in each frame, and we’ll place them on some thick, glittery scrapbook paper. We’ll have electric candles in the midde (they are printed on vellum so the candle light will shine through).

haha i was going to say candleabras … we are usuing these with table squares underneath – i almost think if you get a bigger candelabra you can get away with just that – for me, mine are big enough that if i added more stuff it would just look crowded with table numbers, plates, cups, napkins, and favors

We’re doing 2 different types of non-foral centerpieces…My colors are black/white with teal accents and we also have about 40 tables.
First – I’m DIYing ribbon pomanders which will sit atop a 12″ eiffle vase filled with silver tinzle (we’re also draping teal fabric around the base and setting votives around each one).
Second – For the other half we’re using these tall glassware sets (idk the actual term for them but they kind of look like big wine glasses) — they are 10″, 12″ and 14″. We’re filling them half way with glass beads and setting a candle inside. They’ll also be draped with the same fabric and have candles around the base.
Hope this sparks an idea! 🙂
Here’s a picture of one of the ribbon pomanders…
