What about 3 days in New Orleans?  It’s a party kind of town, but also with some cool stuff to do.

Or a vacation rental in the mountains…you all could drink wine in the hottub, plan a trip to the spa, rent a bunch of movies.

Or a big camping trip might be fun.

Or rent a house boat on a big lake (Lake Powel comes to mind here in the west).

I’m not sure if this is non traditional or not but I’ve been to a couple parties where we went winery hopping and stayed at a bed and breakfast near a winery. We have quite a few here in Missouri, particularly in a small town called Hermann, there are 3 within walking/short driving distance. What area do you live in? It was just really fun to tour the wineries, do some tasting, have some good food, then we went back to the B&B and watched movies and drank wine, pretty laid back but still a lot of fun.

You could do an evening picnic and have everyone bring their favourite wine and that wine’s best cheese paring and have a cheap wine tasting.

I’m the exact same way AND my Maid/Matron of Honor is my 14 year old sister. (she’s wise beyond her years and more competent than some 20 somethings! 🙂 )

We’re thinking of going to the science museum with the bridal party, maybe even having some of the older girls come up with a scavenger hunt.

I also love the idea of a weekend in a cabin or a spa day 🙂

my Maid/Matron of Honor planned a 2 day event for me. Day 1 all my friends came over for a lingerie shower, snacks, drinks, and games. After that we all headed out to dinner and then to a late night comedy show. On Day 2 just me and the BMs went out to breakfast and then went and got manis/pedis. That night we made dinner in and hung out watching netflix.

I had a blast! 2 of my 3 BMs are non-local so just spending a few days with them was so great!

I went to a bachelorette party where each of the girls painted a portion of a famous painting(irises) that together formed one big painting. The bride is artsy so she painted a few squares too. It was at an art studio and about $20 a person. We gave our paintings to the bride and she loved it!

Yeah, the mountain cabin think won’t be special enough.

I think you should  do the Telluride Bluegrass festival!!

Ten thousand waves in Santa Fe is nice, but I think you’d get bored if you tried to stay there for 3 days.

Seriously, I think TBF is the answer!

Maybe go to the beach/lake with your ladies for a few days.   You can rent a small condo or house and just relax, cook, and hang out together.  It can be low key but still girly time!
