Might I recommend Graue Mill and Museum/nature preserve off of York Rd and Ogden Ave. There is a beautiful old grain mill, small waterfall, and forested paths. It’s a lovely setting for photos. You may have to call them about permits, though. I’m not sure if a photo permit is required.

At Brainard and Jackson Avenues there is a bike path with a bridge going over the Salt Creek. My grandmother used to live close by there and we would ride our bikes along that path all the way to the Brookfield Zoo. It is a very pretty paved path, and might be worth checking out. I second the Graue Mill and you might also want to check the Brookfield Zoo. Good Luck!

Also, I forgot. It’s not LaGrange Park but it’s pretty close by. Check out Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve. It is very hilly and there are some beautiful small waterfalls.
