I’ve Decided to take a ridiculously non-traditionl approach to my wedding… Our Park wedding is featuring Suit-n-ties for the groomsmen & $20 vintage sundresses for my gals… I want the music to mimic the cozy/casual nature as well…
We have a giant picture of Me, my guy and our son and are having guests sign the Frame board instead of a traditional guest book….We need music Ideas for this part!!!…I believe in a thing called love-the darkness…
Music for the Groomsmen-bridesmaid…
Music for the flower boy-n-gal
Music for my walk…Dashboard confessional-stolen….
Music for after I do’s-recessional…Muse-feeling good…oasis-wonderwall…
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated…

I’m taking a similar non-traditional approach, and music is very important to us. We are playing more modern love songs. Some of our favorite artists Ryan Adams, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Brett Dennen, Citizen Cope, Iron and Wine. All of them sing some of the most beautiful love songs. I would also find that while watching a movie or TV show, there would be a scene where I was so touched and the music added to the moment, so I would research to find the song. Music is so personal, but hope this gives you some ideas…All the best!

I think that is great; we did non-traditional music as well. The wedding party walked down to an acoustic version of "Soul Meets Body" by Death Cab for Cute (two of my former students sang), walked down to an insturmental version of "She’s Got a Way" by Billy Joel, and when it was over we walked back down the aisle to "Lov You Madly" by Cake.
Everyone loved it because it fit our personalities and style — go with what works for you!
