Well I’m a HUGE blue cheese fan so that sounds good to me, but what about an olive tampanade?  That is one of my faves, SO yummy!

How about a mini meatball with sauce? A single grilled shrimp or scallop? Crab salad?

A wedding I went to this year had ravioli served on those spoons. Just a single square of goats cheese ravioli in a rich beetroot sauce. OMG it was delicious. This has reminded me to find a recipe for something similar!

Mmmm… I love the grilled shrimp/scallop idea above. Or: stuffed mushrooms, deviled eggs, crab cakes or anything wrapped in bacon!

Just some ideas

– shrimp with avocado mousse

– boursin stuffed tomatoes (grape or cherry)

– mini carmalized onion tarts with stilton

– gorgonzola blackberry reduction bruchetta bites

– grilled octopus

– sweet and spicy shrimp

– honey chipotle beef bites

 

I’ve made all of these for appetizer spoons (these are the most popular)
