So, I have a veil and I have a dress. I have tried them on together in natural light, and thought they looked good. Then, I read the label, and I saw that the veil was oyster and the dress ivory. Now, I notice a difference.
Unfortunately, my veil was custom made–with silver embroidery around the edges that matches my dress–and I am not sure if I can dye it. What do I do? It’s a single layer veil with no pouf–is it likely that people will notice?

This will probably be the first of many responses like this, but don’t sweat it. I’m absolutely sure that nobody (save for you 😉 ) will see the difference. And if they do, they are looking WAAAAY too close lol

It really doesn’t matter what the color names are. What do they look like next to each other? Since they are essentially the same color, the difference should not be that obvious to anyone other than you, if even you can tell by looks alone. On the wedding day, you won’t even notice since your attention will be focused elsewhere.

No one will notice and it may actually be better not being matchy anyways
